Ishikawa, Nanao

Into the wind.

Status

Rentals are paused for now.

Everything is ready. We just need people to run it.

We prepared the vehicle and completed the business registration for Ishikawa's first tuktuk rental. What we do not have is people for the daily work: handovers and returns, checks, and cleaning. Until we do, rentals stay paused.

When a restart is in sight, we will post the news here and on Instagram. We are not taking bookings at the moment.

Partner

We're looking for someone to run it with us.

A tuktuk fits the coast roads of Nanao and Noto. We are open to an individual or a company taking it on with us. We can settle the terms together.

  • Booking messages, handovers, and returns
  • Vehicle checks, refueling, and cleaning
  • A short driving briefing for first-timers
  • Event appearances and ties with the tourism association and city, where possible

Ideas

What a tuktuk could do here.

These are the uses we had in mind. We are waiting for someone to build them with us.

01

Around Nanao and Notojima, slowly.

The sights in town, a loop around Notojima Island, a drive along the water. A tuktuk moves slowly enough that you feel the wind, and the drive becomes part of the trip.

  • Short rentals of 3 or 6 hours
  • Packages with a stay

02

Working with the community.

Transport for guests staying nearby, at Wakura Onsen, a hot-spring town, and elsewhere. A vehicle for events and for shuttle runs. We also wanted to work with the city and the tourism association to bring people to the area.

  • Event appearances and charter shuttles
  • Work with the tourism association and city
Stay
