The vehicle is ready to run.
Tuktuk Rental Ishikawa is a 7-seat tuktuk rental based in Nanao, Ishikawa. Rentals to the public are paused because we do not yet have people for the daily work, but the vehicle is ready and the rental business registration is complete.
So we are open to renting it to people who want to use a tuktuk in their work: events, promotion, photo shoots, or getting guests around. Inns, shops, event organizers, cities, and tourism associations are all welcome to ask.
Some ways it could help.
Park it on site and people gather to look and take photos. For festivals, markets, events at shopping centers, and anniversaries.
With banners or signs, the large seven-seat body becomes a moving advertisement for an opening or a new product. Ask us about decoration.
The blue body against the coast works for ads, videos, social media clips, and pre-wedding photos.
Have your own staff drive guests to the station, around the hot-spring town, or to nearby sights, free of charge. Something new for inns at Wakura Onsen and across Nanao and Noto.
Park it beside a café or a market stall as a landmark and a photo spot that gets shared on social media.
Tours, displays at events, and tourism promotion, to help bring life back to the area as it rebuilds after the Noto Peninsula Earthquake.

Since the Noto Peninsula Earthquake, Wakura Onsen and Nanao have been reopening inns and working to bring visitors back. We would be glad if the tuktuk could help. Tours, events, rentals to inns: we can work out the shape of it together.
How renting works.
The vehicle
Before you rent
The renting business provides the driver. We cannot rent it out with a driver.
Carrying customers for a fare, as a shuttle or a ride experience, requires a separate passenger transport permit. Some uses, such as an inn driving its own guests free of charge, do not. Please check what applies to your plan.
Subletting the vehicle is not allowed.
Ask us before adding banners, signs, or other decoration.
Insurance is taken out once a rental is agreed. Allow a few days for it when you plan your dates.

Can we rent it for a day, or a few hours?
We agree the period with you, from a few hours for an event to a longer stretch. Tell us how you want to use it.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the period and the use, so we quote after talking with you.
Can an inn use it to drive its guests?
Yes, that is one of the uses we have in mind: your staff drive your guests free of charge. Drivers need to be registered in advance. Charging guests for the ride requires a passenger transport permit.
Can you provide a driver too?
No. Japanese law does not allow a rental company to supply a driver with the vehicle.
Can a city or tourism association use it?
Yes. Tours, displays at events, tourism promotion: we can work out the shape of it together.
What about insurance?
Once a rental is agreed, we take out rental-car insurance (third-party injury, property damage, and passengers) before handing the vehicle over. Rentals are paused at the moment, so the policy is currently suspended. Allow a few days for it, and plan your dates with a little room.
We are based outside Ishikawa. Can we still ask?
