A covered BBQ area and a fire pit by the sea

A gas BBQ, with no charcoal to prepare

The covered BBQ area has a Coleman gas grill. Gas canisters are also free to use, so there is no need to bring charcoal. Meals are not included; please bring the food you want to cook and your own drinks.

For direct bookings, please write “BBQ希望” (BBQ requested) in the remarks field when making your reservation if you would like to use the BBQ equipment.

Prepare dinner in the kitchen, too

Inside the house are an induction cooktop, cookware, tableware, fridge, microwave, rice cooker and kettle. Keep your ingredients in the fridge and prepare them indoors before heading out to the BBQ. Use the facilities to enjoy meals at your own pace.

Food shopping in Nanao & Himi

If your itinerary takes you through Nanao city or the Himi area, consider a market stop for your BBQ or dinner ingredients. Allow time for shopping and the onward journey to OH!TOMARI, with check-in from 15:00 to 18:00.

Bring firewood or buy it on site

A fire pit is provided. Bring your own firewood, or buy it on site for ¥1,000 a bundle. Firewood bought here is cash only and no change is given, so please bring the exact amount. Firewood is separate from the free gas canisters used for the BBQ. Please keep music and voices low during quiet hours, 22:00–7:00.

BBQ and the fire pit are included in both plans

The plans with and without the barrel sauna are both room-only, whole-house stays. The maximum occupancy is 6, counting adults and children who have started primary school. Children who have not yet started primary school stay free only when sharing existing bedding and do not count toward the 6-guest limit. Both include the covered BBQ area and fire pit. If you also want to use the sauna, choose the plan with the barrel sauna.

• Futon mattresses for parties of three or more, which you lay out yourselves

Check-in is 15:00–18:00 and check-out is 10:00. Only registered guests may enter, including during the day, so please contact us in advance if your group size changes. Pets cannot stay at the house.

The sea is across the road

Cross the road in front of the house to reach the sea. On a clear morning you can watch the sun rise over the horizon. The house is in Otomari-machi, Nanao, Ishikawa, about one minute by car from Nanao-Otomari IC on the Noetsu Expressway. Please book at least 10 days before your stay.
