A single-story house for one group a day. Here are the rooms, bedding and indoor facilities.
You have the whole house, so the living room and kitchen are not shared with other guests. The maximum occupancy is 6, counting adults and children who have started primary school. Children who have not yet started primary school stay free only when sharing existing bedding and do not count toward the 6-guest limit. The bedroom has two semi-double beds; for three or more guests, you lay out futon mattresses yourselves. Please consider this sleeping arrangement when planning your stay.
The kitchen has an induction cooktop, cookware, tableware, fridge, microwave, rice cooker and kettle. Meals are not included, so bring your own food and drinks. A washing machine, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning are provided. There is no cleaning or linen change during a multi-night stay.
The kitchen has an induction cooktop (Electrolux EHI326CB). Three steps: 1. Place suitable cookware on a cooking zone and touch and hold the power button for at least a second — when 0 appears, select a heat level promptly. 2. Touch the slider for the zone you are using and choose 1 (low) to 14 (high). P boosts power for boiling water only; after 10 minutes it changes to level 14 and heating continues. 3. Touch and hold the power button for a second to turn it off, and check that heating has stopped.
As a guide, 1–3 keeps food warm or melts, 3–5 simmers, 5–9 steams and stews, 9–13 pan-fries and sears, and 14 boils water. On the display, F means the cookware is not detected — centre suitable cookware on the zone; u is keep-warm mode; L means the controls are locked; and the bars show residual heat, so let the glass cool before touching it. Tap the lock key to release the cooking lock. If E and a number appear, stop using the cooktop and contact us; please do not attempt repairs or reset the breaker yourself.
Use cookware suitable for 200 V induction, with a base that is flat, clean, dry and strongly magnetic. For use on either zone, the base should be at least 12.5 cm wide. Glass, earthenware and non-magnetic cookware will not work, and neither will warped, rounded or footed bases. Never leave cooking unattended or heat an empty pan, keep the controls clear and dry, and never use P to heat oil or for frying. The full manual is in the house.
There is one indoor bathroom with a tub, one washbasin and one toilet. If you want to use the barrel sauna, choose the plan with the sauna. The plan without the sauna still includes the whole house, covered BBQ area and fire pit.

The house is in a natural setting, so there are insects.
A road separates the house from the sea. Please watch for cars when crossing. You can also enjoy the sea view through the living-room window. On a clear morning, the sun rises over the horizon in front of the house.
If you plan to swim, please check which beaches in Nanao are open and their opening periods on the city’s guide before you make plans. Whether a beach opens, and for how long, changes from year to year.
Nanao-Otomari IC on the Noetsu Expressway is about one minute away by car. There are three free parking spaces. Wakura Onsen is about 27 minutes away and Kanazawa about one hour. Check-in is 15:00–18:00, when a staff member meets you with the key. Arrival after 18:00 cannot be accepted, so allow enough time for your journey.
Wakura Onsen Soyu, the public bathhouse in the middle of the hot-spring town, is open to day visitors as well as to people staying in Wakura, and there is a foot bath in Yuttari Park, the Wakura Pokémon Foot Bath. Bring a towel if you plan to use the foot bath. Soyu can close if something at the bath needs repair, and the foot bath closes for the day when a weather warning is issued for Nanao, so please check their official information before you set out.

The house takes one group a day, so the evening after your bath is quiet and yours alone. No meals are served, so have dinner in Wakura or shop on the way back.
The bedroom has two semi-double beds, and parties of three or more lay out futons themselves. It works differently from an inn where bedding is prepared for everyone, so please check it suits your trip before you book. The outdoor barrel sauna is for guests on the Stay with the Barrel Sauna plan; the cold plunge and outdoor shower are open on either plan.
When combining a stay in Nanao with sightseeing, allow time for the journey from your last stop to OH!TOMARI so you arrive during check-in, from 15:00 to 18:00. If you plan to enjoy a BBQ at the house, remember to shop for ingredients before arrival.

Please book at least 10 days before your stay. Quiet hours are 22:00–7:00; avoid loud music and voices. Only registered guests may enter, including during the day. Pets cannot stay at the house.
