01 / HOTELS & ONSEN

Help customers explore
from your hotel or local hub.

A Wakura hotel could introduce an island outing before or after a stay. A hot-spring association could coordinate introductions from several hotels. For Wajima, discuss a local hub and nearby routes.

  1. The participating hotel introduces the service to guests and other local customers
  2. If the participating business is the rental operator, it contracts with the customer
  3. The agreed driver explores the area and returns to the participating business

We are considering supplying the vehicle to a participating business that operates its own rental service. Customers need not be overnight guests. The business must establish the required permission, vehicle registration and base, contracts and insurance. The participating hotel here means your business, not OH!TOMARI.

02 / TOURISM & MUNICIPALITIES

One vehicle.
More reasons to explore.

For example, a weekend touring programme could start at a Notojima visitor centre or participating facility. After a driving briefing, customers collect the vehicle and a stop guide, choose the aquarium or glass art museum, and visit the roadside station for food or souvenirs before returning to the same hub. The tourism association or municipality connects participating venues and promotes the programme. A rental operator with the required permission, contracts and insurance handles the vehicle rentals.

  1. Tourism team: connect the hub, venues and local shops
  2. Rental operator: manage time slots, contracts, briefings and returns
  3. Customers: combine sightseeing with food and shopping, then return to the hub

There is one vehicle. Plan time slots, guidance and return checks around that capacity. Discussions can start before internal approval.

03 / EVENTS

A meeting point.
A reason to stop.

Park at an event or market entrance as a family photo spot. Place it beside a tourism booth to introduce local maps and shops.

  1. The organiser checks the site and pedestrian flow
  2. Build the initial plan around a parked display and photos
  3. Assess drivers, circulation and insurance separately for any driving activity

Participation in Seihakusai or Issaki Houtou Matsuri is not confirmed. Organiser approval, site use and traffic restrictions must be checked.

04 / SHOPS & SHOOTING

Outside your shop.
Inside your next story.

A meeting point outside a shop, an advertising or film shoot, or wedding portraits. Start with how you would like the blue vehicle to appear.

  1. Share the location and creative idea
  2. Discuss decoration, delivery, handover and positioning
  3. Agree vehicle supervision on site and return arrangements

Decoration requires prior agreement. Driving scenes also need an agreed driver and filming method.

Your project details

Purpose, place, dates, on-site staff and proposed drivers. Agree site permission and how visitors will receive information.

  • Insurance is not currently in place. Coverage must be arranged and confirmed before rental.
  • We do not arrange drivers. Only registered drivers may drive.
  • Shuttles and ride experiences require a review of the applicable permissions and insurance for the proposed arrangement.
  • Subletting is not permitted under an ordinary rental. If you want to operate your own business with the vehicle, discuss a separate operating-partner arrangement and suitable contract with us.

Common questions

Can we enquire before dates and budget are decided?

Yes. Share the idea, including proposals still under internal discussion.

Can we discuss use outside Nanao?

We can discuss Wajima and other areas, including transport, handover and operating conditions. Delivery or implementation is not guaranteed.

Can individuals book now?

Public rentals are paused. This page is for business and project enquiries.

OPERATING ARRANGEMENTS

Before you introduce
the service.

These notes focus on a participating business operating its own rentals. Arrangements are at the planning and enquiry stage.

Who contracts with whom?

If the participating business operates its own rental service, we would agree vehicle supply and use terms with that business, and it would contract with the customer. If we remain the rental operator and the local business assists with introductions or reception, the customer contract is with us. These are separate models and roles must be agreed before launch.

Can a hotel start renting it out immediately?

No. A business operating its own paid vehicle rentals needs its own rental-business permission. Our permit name cannot simply be used by another business. Our existing rental terms also prohibit subletting, so an ordinary rental agreement cannot be used unchanged for onward rentals. A separate vehicle-supply agreement must be established for an independent operator. Vehicle registration, the operating base and the supply agreement also need review. The exact arrangement for this vehicle requires confirmation with the competent transport office.

Must customers be staying at the hotel?

We envisage serving other visitors as well as overnight guests. The participating business must define customer eligibility, driver requirements and operating conditions, and clearly state whether a particular offer requires an overnight stay.

Who arranges insurance?

The vehicle is currently uninsured. Before starting, insurer acceptance and coverage must be confirmed for the actual operator, vehicle use and drivers, and a suitable policy must be in place. Policyholder and cost responsibilities must be agreed. No coverage is promised at this stage.

Who handles accidents or breakdowns?

Before launch, agree the customer contact, local response, recovery and repairs, costs and downtime responsibilities. A replacement vehicle or repairs at our expense are not currently guaranteed.

What needs to be ready before launch?

Confirm operator permission, vehicle registration and base, insurance, rental terms, driver checks, rental records, inspections and maintenance. Ishikawa transport-office rules also cover keeping rental records and issuing rental certificates. Requirements depend on the location and operating model.
